Gearbox oil change

Hi all.
I've just had the automatic gearbox oil and filter changed, on the FF.
The reason for the post is to thoroughly recommend the garage that did it. Tameside Transmissions in Droylsden, Manchester.
I am in no way connected to them, but the work was amazing, the car cleaned and was back with me by lunchtime. The difference in how it drives is superb. All for £320.00!
Thoroughly professional, and they have lots of experience on FF's and Land Rovers in general as there was about 6 in the garage. The owner has a 4.4TDV8 ! Thumbs Up Tony

Good man! Thumbs Up

I did similar in my area with another very decent gearbox specialist and for the same amount of money as you paid. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

Could you tell me a bit about how yours drove and how its improved? Also what sort of mileage are you on?

Although its "not bad" I have to say the box in my MY07 S/C is a touch rougher than the same box I had in my 650i.

Was £320 an all in price with VAT/parts etc? 2005 E60 M5
