2010/2012 Facelift conversion problems I'm having.

I did the front 2012 conversion over Friday/Saturday following the wiki guide on here by MattStevenson2005 and encountered a few problems.

1st problem is fog lights, I purchased some LED ones from powerfuluk and they flick/flash when you star the car and then every few mins they do it again over and over. They do work if you turn them on. I also get a message on the dash saying "check fog lamps"

2st problem is the new parking sensors don't work, the old ones did. All I get now is one beep if I turn them off and on and the button flashes.

3rd problem is the indicators double flash, I didn't buy resisters as the company I bought the lights from, these people

RANGE ROVER VOGUE L322 2002-05 HEADLIGHTS ASSEMBLIES PAIR CLEAR BI XENON LED 12 told me they were pre-wired and all the coding had been done. I called them to ask what they meant exactly as I wasn't sure what that meant by pre-wired and coded. They didn't really explain except for saying I don't need resisters and only need to modify my vehicle connectors which I knew about and did using the ones from powerfuluk. The lights were £885 for the pair. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

You will need an iid tool or simiialir to deactivate hot and cold bulb monitoring. The car sends a pulse to check lights and the fact the leds are lower powered it will give you the check bulb message. This will solve this and the disco lights on startup.. the hyperflashing indicators is usually resistor related ..

I guessed I might need to fit resisters on the headlights for the indicators but would I also need them for the foglights? I did ask powerfuluk before I bought the LED ones if I would have any issues using them on a 2003-2012 conversion and the said no, be plug and play. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

I sorted the indicators with some resisters and parking sensors had one wire wrong. Led fogs on the other hand still do not work. Powerful sent me some resisters that didn't work and now telling me I need to buy a relay for £29 which should fix the issue. Also getting "check headlight" come up on dash.

What have people done with the air filter on the m62 petrol? Which K&N is to be fitted and what do you do about the Sai pipe that used to go into the air box? 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

The headlights from that company are aftermarket Chinese copies (I visited their shop near Romford to check them out) so might have some differences to the genuine AL Italian made ones. Tom

Fog light is fixed with relay board from powerful if you look for nav coder you can edit the LCM and switch off the warnings
