Sorted now.... Rolling Eyes

Is it me or are the Belgians very aggressive drivers? Have been tailgated, undertaken and generally cut up by Belgians this trip. Everyone else seems to have decent road manners including the French and Germans!! Nothing personal agains the Belgians just the driving of some was shocking!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

agree re the Belgians , not the best drivers and the worst is when they pull out and then indicate..

how come you havnt the digital speedo readout activated on yours, and the speedo itself isnt on kph... ... - .- -.

Didn't turn it on, it's about 3-4kph out so I just used the gps on my Tom Tom as it also has the "speed safety zones" on it. It's fine for the journey back as I know where I'm going, on the way down I can't be bothered to programme it properly so it always wants to take me through Lyon hence the written directions. Just use the Tom Tom for speed and safety zone info!

Didn't know you could switch the speedo? Can you? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

You activate the 2nd ( numeric ) speedo using an iid tool, but I have no idea how.
Mine are both set to MPH, and I rely on the speed alert telling me to slow down !!!,

the speedo can be switched to kph via the dash menu Mark, the digital readout is done with the iidtool ..

i have mine set so when abroad the big speedo dial is kph and the digital one is mph ..this is so i can get a related speed in 'english' mph... ... - .- -.

not seen how to do that yet.

Have figured out how to switch the small readout on in kph, as you just select the different units settings in the trip menu. But switching the whole thing to KPH......suppose i should RTFM. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

I'm just impressed that you're at almost 80 mph, but still under 2000 rpm. Wow, those diesel things are rather neat.

GRRRR Big Cry

have just spotted that my front bumper has some of the lacquer lifting on a fairly decent sized area, about the size of 2 50p pieces......

This was resprayed a year or so ago, so its not original lacquer and has probably had some stone chips which have allowed a recent jet wash to do some damage

have improvised a temporary fix with some lacquer stick, 2000grit wet and dry and some G3,

the fix is only visible if you are looking for it!! it will do for now and i will have a word with the spray shop to see if they can do me a deal on re lacquering the bumper. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

On a better note, new (to me) wheels and tyres are going to go on!! Courtesy of forum member Alex. Nice set of AB diamond cut style 18 (I think)

Will get bolted on in the next few days to add a bit more bling to the motor! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

It's got the standard 20" v spoke vogue wheels on it at the moment but they are dark shadow chrome/gunmetal instead of sparkle silver.

Will keep both sets for now and decide which I like more and use the others as winters possibly.

Just did a google and found they are style 19 not 18, so diamond cut, rather than style 18 which are shadow chrome painted. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ
