Rear TV / DVD Remote not Functioning

Hi,

I have the Digital TV / DVD with rear screen option. It has the wide remote control in the centre armrest in the rear. It seems fully fictional - touch screen works as well as buttons on the side and it holds charge, but it doesn't control the rear screens.

I have full control of the rear screens from the driver seat on the front touch screen if I want and all works fine; but for the life of me can't work out why the rear remote won't work. The earphones work fin in rear too.

Is there something simple I am missing like a pairing or something?

Its a 2010 TDV8.

The remote won't work if you are on the supervisory screen in the front, and from that screen in the front you can disable the remote. Though I would imagine you already know that from the manual. Not sure about pairing though, sorry. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I remember having to pair the remote with the car in my 2007 with RSE.

There was an infra-red receiver in the roof light unit and a certain key sequence to match both send and receive units.

I think I found the sequence on this forum or Google'd it.
