On the Verge of rejecting mine as well. Software still stalling and resetting and the dealer has no clue on how long it is going to take to resolve, a massive shame as the car looks lovely.

A real shame but remember the 1000 mile / 1 month rule. Don't know how long you've had yours Thumbs Up

Does that mean it must be under one month and 1000 miles in order to reject?

after speaking to Land Rover finance they have said as it was faulty from delivery and they have tried on two occasions to rectify the fault it can be rejected. To be fair even the dealer has pretty much said the same but we will see once I sit down and speak to them face to face.
At the end of the day the retail value of this car was 108k and my expectation was for it to be perfect, a reasonable assumption don't u think.
Emailed this morning again, the only recognition was read receipts from the sales guy who sold me the car and the sales manager.
I would of at least expected a reply to say we are stilling looking into it
So frustrating

Well done, Finance is a different case in point but I'm pleased you are on top of it unlike the dealer by the sound of it. Which one did you purchase from?

Well we've had fun and games over the last week! I thought that we had come to a mutually agreeable solution but apparently not. When I spoke with the sales manager ( a week ago today) we agreed a way forward. He said that I'd have my car back by yesterday, despite the bank holiday weekend.

Anyway, as you do I checked the incontrol function regularly to see if there was any movement in my car but every time it was locked and alarmed so I emailed for an update three separate days until yesterday, all with no reply. As I was supposed to be receiving the car back yesterday I was disappointed to see it hadn't turned a wheel and because I was getting no reply from the dealer I contacted LRCS and they did assist me. They told me that they'd contacted the dealer at 11am and asked them to make urgent contact with me. By 3.45 pm and still no contact I emailed the dealership and said that I would require proof by video that the work had been carried out already, as promised or I would reject the car. At 5pm the salesman rang me and told me he work hadn't even been started yet but that they'd get onto it. I told them not to.

It later transpired that there was an impass over the seat and a smart repair had been carried out.

Well it turns out that a new leather seat is £2000.00 and the dealership don't want to pay that. So even though it was beyond my comfort zone I said that I would agree to receiving the car if the professional repair on the leather was guaranteed for the life of my ownership. They refused to guarantee their own professionals work. So I had no alternative and have now rejected the car.

Well thought I'd update a little from last time. I finally bought my new to me car last week, It's a Loire Blue tdv6 SE with very low mileage and lots of extras. The main thing was that the car is immaculate inside and outside. I spent some time on it before actually handing over the cash and I couldn't find a single thing wrong, which was a great relief.

On a slightly less positive note the PM that I sent to Amellia (Our customer relations contact) went unanswered despite being three weeks ago.

The Customer Service Representative from LRCS forgot to arrange the gratuity that she promised to and then went sick.

And finally, despite me thanking Lancaster Tonbridge for sending back my car to me in tip top order I later found out the they'd forgot to include the head phones for the car......and an email to the Used Car Manager once again went unanswered.

How in the name of sanity do all of these people stay in busines, JLR included! I don't think they can be trusted to run a tap, let alone a premium product empire. Drives:

2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue SE - Zermatt Silver
