4.4TDV8 - The Mile High Club

Hi guys,

Just nipping at 109000 miles in my 2011 4.4TDV8 and wondering how many people are above that?

Time + miles have shown weaknesses in the 3.0 and the 3.6 in various ways and I feel like high miler 4.4TDV8's are the pioneers of this relatively new engine and it's 8-speed box. It's only us that will really experience what will fail.

The consensus is that the 4.4 is more sorted than the 3.6 but what might happen? And what could be prevented.

Post your miles and tell us any drivetrain issues.

. Cheers, Greg
