5.0 SC or SVR.

Just wondering if any SC owner had considered the SVR as well and what where your thoughts or what are they on these two any way.

Depends if you want a sporty ride and a smaller car, just go for the SV Autobiography Dynamic and stick full fat.
Thumbs Up

Never driven either Cayman but have driven Sports and they are very different beasts. The one they loaned me was a 90 grand car and I could not wait to get my full fat back. It went well (for the sdv6) was a bit firm and rattled a fair bit. I couldn't imagine the SVR would ride any better and I'm aware that some owners are having sleepless nights every time the new glass's guide comes out! To give you an idea the cheapest one on auto trader is up for £82K but Webuyanycar value it at less than £53K. Dealers will give a fair bit more but a likely part ex would still only be £60K. Doh..........

Ok so, DrF agree the SV Dynamic is nice but £30k more than you can get the other two for.
Basil i thought and see that the SVRs seem to hold there value well you seem to think other wise, they seem high priced at the stealers.

If you check out the price that a dealer would give you as a part ex price, it's generally a very good indication of medium trade price or part ex. In the case of a 16 plate SVR on the auto trader with 13,000 miles on it that's only £66,000 they'd allow you on that car and yet it's retailed at £90K. So whilst they appear to be holding their money well, I think you'll find it's the dealers that are keeping the prices high by injecting a huge mark up. The suggested retail price of that same car is £72K, so if these figures are right it's only a matter of a short time before their prices have a big bump downwards Thumbs Up
