Change wipers

Changing old style wipers to new style single blades with less metal I bought mine from Ebay for £16.97 check out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141738271428?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT
smooth operation with no juddering when dry. when fitting make sure you remove ALL plastic bits and then they just slip on perfectly

These are excellent - I bought mine over a year ago and they are still functioning brilliantly.
Thumbs Up

Thanks OP, ordered.
A question: I seem to have an extra 'Aero' wing blade thingy on my driver's side wiper. It had a dangling fragment of rubber blade on it which was causing a problem. I've removed the fragment and the aero blade doesn't scrape on the windscreen, but it seems to be an integral part of the wiper arm (I can't see a way to remove it).

I'd like to get rid of it, so do I need a new wiper arm?

The new Areo blades come with a protective cover (green) you discard them fitting the Areo blades should fit directly on to the metal arm hooks. If you have the stock Land Rover ones?

Mine also has one of these , and I've also ordered wipers. Time will tell about the "wing", may be an air saw job Laughing

I'll remove mine then, doubtful I'll ever see 90mph. I have been known to touch 80mph briefly though, at least once. Laughing

Mine lasted 6 months before delaminating, I put this down to SWMBO NEVER cancelling the wipers when she parks so frost and snow are killing them. Please when park turn the wipers off for many reasons.... is it that difficult ? Rant over Thumbs Up
