thanks, I was wanting to check the connections on the ECU as I am getting related fault codes for suspension. and ECU, so thought I might have aC An bus coonetion fault, researching says the various ECUs are interconnected.

LCM-Light Control v11

• 0xC ECU EEPROM fault

• 0x57 Air suspension active/inactive

• 0x8E Right side marker defective

• 0x8F Left side marker defective

• 0x0094 Unknown

• 0x0095 Unknown

Hey lounge_on_wheels
Did you have a go at pulling this out?

Also if you did pull this out did you disconnect the battery first or is it ok to pull it out and re connect when needed?

Thanks

I would recommend disconnecting the battery to disconnect the LCM, for the avoidance of any gremlins creeping in, and also creating a safe state (for you, the LCM and everything connected to it!

Mine was all nice and dry, but didn't hurt to clean up the connectors and pins with a squirt of this and that to help it on its way Thumbs Up .

Thanks Joe90

My only issue is that the drivers side sidelight does not turn off.
the light is permanently disconnected and everything else works fine.
i was going to remove the lcm and send it away to get fixed.

no issues with leaving the battery disconnected for a week though? Confused

Can't go flat - BONUS! However, ensure your physical key can lock and unlock the drivers door beforehand (leave another door or the boot open when testing) - alarm may go off until you put key in ignition.

I have had mine sat out on the drive for three weeks disconnected (big rear suspension job!), no worries. .

Absolutely no need to disconnect the battery. Had mine in and out a few times over the years.
