Steering wheel vibration / buzzing

Done a search but couldn't find anything, so, TD6 2003. Sometimes when reversing I get a buzzing vibration when turning the steering, straighten up and it goes. Never get it going forward though. At first I thought it was the front pads just vibrating slightly but noticed if I stop when reversing and turn the wheel I can get it then. Let the wheel spring back and it stops, turn it and it starts again. Odd !!
Any ideas?

Could well be the steering pump, when turning the fluid is under greater pressure than when straight ahead.

Otherwise it could be the steering transducer. Can't explain the reversing aspect though....

Yes , I though it weird that it happens only in reverse.
