I'm thinking of getting rid of my Swift Conqueror for a Buccaneer Cruiser.
I know Buccaneers are well screwed together, but having never owned anything but Swifts, are they that much better?

A Buccaneer is made by Elddis so much the same as Swift.

I have had loads of problems with my 2015, on fifth set of upholstery, fourth front window and it had to go back to the dealer four times in the first year.

The extra width is very good and so is the self levelling.

If you go onto the caravan talk forum there are a number of threads about 15, 16 and 17 models and it would appear that the newer ones have less problems.

Ian

Threw a bit of love at the tin tent last weekend:

Got some roll end and made some new carpets, which are now at the carpet man to be whipped.
Gave it a Good wash
Fitted some better speakers as the tiny Lunar Were pants
Cleaned it out

Just needs a polish now and it might be ready for a trip to silverstone for the British GP! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

For those who may have missed it, there is a range rover meeting 14th July in Derbyshire tents and tintents welcomed and for £12.50 a night (caravan 2 adults 3kids and the dog) I don't think it's to badly priced

while I am there I will have a lot of diagnostic stuff with me, key cutting machine upgrades for BMW type key

Thought i'd do a collection of the last few years, firstly a FFRR TD6 with a 2011 Buccaneer Clipper, then a 3.6TDV8 with the same Caravan and finally my current 4.4TDV8 with a 2017 Buccaneer Clipper.

Just ordered a Luna Delta Ti from local dealer, same layout as our Swift Conqueror 645.
Never had a Lunar van before, looks well screwed together, and dealer gave us a deal, so all in all happy Thumbs Up

The Luna seems nice I've looked at them in the dealers, light weight in comparison to the Buccaneer though so you won't even feel it behind the FF Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
