Been on a detour now home again..

Hello to all those I know and new members..

I left the fold to venture into Porsche Cayenne territory (fantastic engineering and sporty driving) then another 2 years in a BMW F10 M5 (awesome power when you can get it all down on the road). But what they say is true, once you've had FFRR, nothing compares. So today I collected my SDV8 AB with some nice options. After 8 black cars on the bounce, I said never again, but....

Good to be back Very Happy

I've been down the FFRR route then to A Cayene to another FFRR then another Cayenne then an F10 M5 then 3 more L405 FFRR's then another Cayenne.
It's true about 'once a FFRR owner' nothing compares Bow down

From my experience to date the Cayenne is such a great 4 x 4 to drive but a RR is far superior to own.

This is very true, the all new Cayenne will be out later in the year with the dash the same as the new Panamera. Whilst it may be tempting, I'll stick with the FFRR and a 911 in the garage Wink Current MY2020

Looks like a few FFRR owners have come like myself from the F10 M5. I'm still struggling with the sheer size of the car, albeit the worry is in my head, but i'd have hoped after 3 months i'd have started to get used to it.

On motorways & dual carriageways it's a dream, but as soon as i leave these roads & have to cover a few miles on B roads, i tense up the minute i see anything larger than a Corsa or Fiesta heading towards me & if i see a bus or HGV i go very pale. Paul
