Anyone got an oil extraction pump I can borrow?

Hi all,

L322 V8 due for an oil change, but I really don't want to pay someone for an easy job! I also don't particularly want to have to get on my back under it (I have back issues) - anyone in or near Herts have something like a Pela pump I can borrow for a day?

Cheers,
Ian

You can buy one for under £20, they certainly make life easier.

Yes, I know that! It's just that I'm moving house soon and didn't want to have to move more stuff!

why don't you change it the traditional way and drain through the sump? Current:

I have a vacuum pump for oil too, but still prefer to drain through the sump.

That way I can make sure the majority of the oil is out and can see if there is anything untoward while i'm under the car.

just can't justify using the pump.. I could understand if the access for restricted and it was a pain to get to it. Current:

I wanted to try it as I have a couple of other cars and thought it would make life easier! Also would be good for diffs etc. I guess I'll buy one and have to move it with my other stuff!
