United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
AV Input

Hi folks any one on here tried one of these?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audio-Video-AV-I...1438.l2649

I have seen one review saying that it did not work correct with DSP , but that could be user error?

Cheers Darryl

Hi Stan,

I have filled it all in accept I can not add colour as it says 'select model and year first' which I have already done, probably user error I am sure.

Any how TD6 2004 Vogue with of course DSP and analog TV.

Im debating as she has just gone through an MOT (YAY GET IN!!) whether to just try this and hock up a freeview or rip it all out start a fresh, all works except a rear door speaker due to I believe a corroded pin or two...

Cheers

What do you want to do with your ICE ?

Suggest looking for a plug and play hybrid TV unit if you want TV (although most here will agree that it is the most useless and unused gizmo/toy/gadget on the car!)

Do you have rear screens? If not many have gone for an iPad/Android tablet approach.

Or consider the full android front screen upgrade with everything (Nav/TV/Dab/etc.) for what you are likely to spend upgrading what is there. There is a great thread on here that covers just about everything you need to know.

For your rear speaker, suggest you get the door card off and test: 1. speaker, 2. wiring (back to BM54 or DSP) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Hiya Joe,

Yep read the Android Head unit thread, I may go that way as yet. I liked the idea of this cable due to the inexpensive and ease of possibility of reverse camera, aux mobile and freeview/dvd player, although I have rear screens the wires running to under the passenger seat are at best flaky Rolling Eyes

And you are spot on 'unused gizmo' but toys are toys bud!!

Cheers
