General Grebber AT v General Gabber AT3

We had the General Grabber AT's on our last Range Rover (which was stolen a few months ago)

Our replacement is arriving into the dealership in a week.

i was planning on putting the same tyres on but i heard the AT's were replaced by the AT3. is this correct, as it seems the AT's are still available

is the AT3 going to be better or worse than the AT off road?

anyone else made this change?

AT3 is the replacement, same 50% on-road/50% off-road, but supposedly better in snow (they're 3PMSF-marked).

I've been on General tyres for years, had them all A/T 2 & 3

I fitted the A/T3's in February and love them. I fitted 255x55x20

I have AT3's on my RR SC as all season tyres, very pleased with them, I have 275/45/20's as 255/55/20's weren't available @ Nov last year, would go for the latter size wise, not as economical fuel wise as the Pirelli Scorpion's, but I wanted the extra bite off road Regards

Switzerland 2005 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

I have AT's on my RR also had them on my D4 before that and they're a great tyre.

I was speaking to a bloke the other day ..... he has a 2015 D4 with AT3's. He runs a mobile toilet business, buidling site or festival type. As you can imagine getting on/off site with the delivery trailer and/or service unit in all weathers all year round can be a challenge ..... long story short, he reckons the 3's are way better. Current - RRV Autobiography 4.4V8 2005

Modifications - 20" Westminster Alloys with Grabber AT's. BRC LPG Conversion.

Previous- RRC 3.9V8/91. RRC 4.2V8/94 LSE Softdash. RRC 2.5tdi/94. RRC 2.5tdi/91. RR p38 2.5DHSE/01, Disco2 2.5td5/03, Disco4 2.7tdv6/10 ..... all gone.

A bit late to the party here, but I find the AT to be good offroad, fine on dry roads, but absolutely lethal when it's wet or damp. They came with the Rangie when I bought it and although I had them fitted to my old disco in 235/70R16, I am currently looking to swap them out for something else due to the poor wet weather performance. 2006 MY FFRR 4.2 S/C autobiography (Auckland Blue - 901)
