Careful with cleaning

Morning all just a quick note to say A few weeks ago I had all the belts pulleys etc replaced just after this had all sorts of faults and problems ended up replacing the alternator battery and passenger airbag - and still there were faults .Now the car is 10 years old and has been brilliant so didn't begrudge new alt as it was 10 yrs old battery was a swop out and old one went on the boat the airbag was a waste of money I think as the fault came back now all faults are gone completely fault free and I have just found out that after the pulleys etc were done it was put in for a valet and they steamed the carpets Shocked my guess is this was all caused by the steaming of the carpets so just a word of caution

P38 was worse you could have all sorts of grief just with muddy wellies and the BeCM was fragile as you say
