Alternator replaced

Replaced the alternator water pump and all pulleys and belts as a bit of preventative maintenance all were working ok but the vehicle is 10 years old and has done 148k so good job well done

Good call sandy. I did my alternator last month at 186,000 when a bearing started going. Easy job for my indie mech and only £125 in labour.

Interestingly the whole pulley and arm caboodle was cheaper than buying just the pulley! Go figure?

Running like a peach again. Bow down

Yep same here but for me its is just worth the preventative maintenance and thats why in nearly 100k it has never let me down
