Is this from using the switches in the front or back?

Or both?

Could be an issue with the body control module under the passenger seat. Sometimes the circuitry/resistors can fail or connections can get loose.

My rear driver's side window only works when there is hot weather. Tom

Just so I understand, using the switch in the front, the rear windows will go down but won't go back up?

It's not that the windows are going down on their own when you start the car is it?

If they will operate normally with the switches in the rear then there's a problem with the switch panel in the front, if they won't operate correctly with either the front or rear then you have another problem.

Is the global closure enabled on your car or have you tried letting the windows up using that?

Sounds like there's either a short somewhere (switches?) or a problem with the BCM.

Might be worth unplugging the switched in the rear behind the door card to see if that narrows down the problem.

And faults coming up?

I had a stuck rear window recently. Pulled it down manually with a flat hand while holding the switch.
Was sticky rubber due to lack of use. A good dose of sillicone spray/grease especially on the top edge and its getting better with every use. Recommend doing them all as it takes a load off the motor and relays
Best wishes
Glen

I'd plumb for the BECM, they have small relays on the PCB which fail...

For a quick fix, whip off the door cards and unplug the motors when the windows are up...

A code read with an IID or similar may be worthwhile... Thumbs Up Pete
