Something odd about turbine alloys...

Morning all,

I've been looking at changing up to a 405 shortly, and have always admired the turbine alloys, but I noticed something a bit peculiar the other day.
The 'pointy tip' of the turbine points clockwise on all the wheels.
This means that looking from the right, the points all go forwards, but from the left, they go backwards.

Am I the only one to notice this or does it drive anyone else nuts? My OCD-ometer has just burst in to flames!!

I'd not noticed that but TBH I wouldn't be able to live with it. Who on earth signed that design off?

It's the sort of thing that drives me mad - just like the "M" on a MacBook bring an upside down "W" and not a proper M. Censored Censored Winds me up every time I use it ...

...not just on the turbines, also a 'feature' of the L322 style 11 supercharged wheels, although less obvious.

I used to think the same, but to be fair, I can only see one side of a Fattie at once, not both, so I've come to terms with it! Very Happy
