More great service from Maltings Off Road

MOT a few weeks ago and thought I'd take it to Maltings, rather than the usual little garage I use. Purely down to the fact I'd like some FFRR experience look at my car and look for any potential problems.

OK the suspension arm needed replacing unexpectedly, but that aside it sailed through..........apart from they noticed an oil leak coming from the back of the engine. It was duly booked in and the 2 weeks of worry started.

On inspection it was found to be the oil cooler and not just a leaking gasket, so the parts were ordered. Big Cry

All respect to Maltings, I was given a Disco 4 courtesy car and in order to get me mine back as soon as possible, one of the lads even worked late so I could collect mine before 12.00 the following day (trip booked and needed to pull my tin tent).

Whilst waiting overnight I did a bit of googling to find out rough costs, people stating £1,100 - £1,200!!! Not sure exact to the penny as I threw the receipt straight into a file so as not to be reminded, but it was about £800.

Can't fault the place!!! Top geezers. Thumbs Up Bow down Thumbs Up

My lad had them do some work on his RR Sport, including gear box flush etc, he was mightily impressed with them.
They have a fantastic reputation in this area Thumbs Up

Hi Baltic,
As far as I'm aware it was just down the back of the engine.
