Hi All,

I had issues with my amp crackling and it has stopped since i disconnected the affected speakers and swapped out my tailgate seal for a new one. I reconnected one of the speakers and it kicks out distorted sound and a loud buzzing again. Disconnected everything again and i guess i need to have my amp either repaired or replaced.

Its the xqk500105 model which was in the Disco and RRsport. If i can have my amp repaired then i would, but if a xqk500105 amp from the Disco/RRS fits then i may try and source them.

The question is... where did the amp sit in the Disco/RRS? Hopefully not in a leaky boot like many of the Fattys.
Some of the amps on the bay look very clean look to have lived a nice dry life, are these the Disco/RRS items?

Well it appears the Disco/RRS Amp lives under a front seat and so should be in better knick than many of ours.
