Exterior Trim Removal / Black Pack Conversion

Hi everyone,

I want to get my car converted to black pack spec by getting all of the exterior trim panels painted - just a couple of questions:

1) My car is santorini black, should the trims be body colour or just gloss black?
2) How do you remove all the exterior trims? Do they all just pull off? Or do the bumpers, tailgate and door internals need to be removed to access screws?

Any help will be much appreciated!

I'd have thought body coloured - unless you go for a contrast like matt black

They clip in, but you may well break some in removing & replacing, so as long as the new ones come with clips you should be OK - but if you're careful, there's an eBay market for the old ones.

Instructions are on TOPIX - I had to replace one of mine on the rear bumper side due to a reversing incident - amazingly the insert piece took all of the grazing & the bumper was fine Thumbs Up

Did the OP go ahead with this? My car needs some paint work repairing and was think about doing this. Is it better to buy the new bits or just have the existing ones sprayed?

How much damage ?

I scuffed one of mine and just bought a new one - but if I was doing them all, then it’s probably worth removing and having someone respect the lot in one go.

It’s a maths question really......
