I've just gone to use my tow bar for the first time and although the arm swings out OK, the pkug/socket stays hidden.
I seem to remember reading that this was common and there was an upgrade part available to replace seized socket arms?
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Think it's this, which I have saved a print-out from somewhere, as my 2016 has the electric tow arm. Never a problem so far!
But do note you must NEVER fit a towball cover to it as there is not enough clearance when stowed.
I quote:-

(Yes, we bloody well know that 'cause that's what we've just complained about )

Hope that helps. Clearly a known problem. So may be under warranty.

I think this was an extract from a TOPIX bulletin. But no obvious TSB number etc. But it's obviously official.
