Coolant leak found! Hole in adaptor manifold pipe

If any of you have an annoying slowish coolant leak adn can't find the cause, check your Hose – Engine to changeover valve. Mine had a hole in it caused by the jubilee clip! It is number 21 on page 26-2-6 of RAVE.

Can you post the pic from that page : "It is number 21 on page 26-2-6 of RAVE" ?

There is nothing numbered 21 in either the System Description and Operation nor the Service Procedures - Second Edition on the RAVE CD-ROM that I have. In fact, there are no images on either page 26-2-6.

These are the images from my copy of RAVE:

Hi there can’t put the page piccy in as am on iPad. However I used the wiki version of rave on here.

My petrol V8 has an FBH so has its own page for its coolant system. Page number is as above.

If you still have probs finding it I willput the page up when I get back and on my desktop.
Thumbs Up

Aha! My RAVE doesn't have that page (and my L322 doesn't have the FBH) I assume it's this diagram (from wiki RAVE):

England

That section of hose has an approx life of ten years (according to my local AD). Part number JHC000081.

The part cost me £7.31 from the AD when mine went after 12 years of service.

Sorry for the resurrection but I think I have this leak but it looks like the pipe has been cut and a bodge repair put in.

It looks like they have cut the pipe and put in a piece to the manifold.

Looks like I need the wee junction piece JHC000081 and the one that leads to that from the block the inner wing.

Is it the same area and hose?

Ta.
