Ireland 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey

New style key arrived today , not sure looks wise against the standard one. Paired it with my IID Tool in about 1 min. Excellent piece of kit that pays for itself over and over again. Key was 38stg and appears to be genuine article. 3 keys now so hopefully all bases covered. 2015 4.4 AB

Spent a couple of hours trying to remove one of the bolts to replace the lower tailgate straps. Bu€€er would not budge despite escalating levels of "persuasion".

Despite liberal applications of penetrating oil the torx head disintegrated early on in the process. Even a lump-hammer and cold-chisel wouldn't turn it so much as a fraction.

So tomorrow im going to have to rig up some kind of heat shielding and set the blowtorch on it. 2006MY 4.2 SC

Mulcher, have you tried 3-in-1 oil soaked on the bolt shaft? I had a bit of a battle with mine too, but that seemed to help. Also try a bolt extractor before you go down the blowtorch route.
