So just an update on a couple of things. Paid 95stg for a service kit ,to have one in stock. Ordered some personalized floor mats ( they have Beelzebub stitched into the front mats ) not sure how they will look but at 25stg worth a punt.

Loving the deployable side steps but found an even more impressive addition to the 2011 that the 2007 did not have, in the centre console cup holders there are flexible rubber bits that grab the cup !!!!! As has been said before , its the little things Very Happy 2015 4.4 AB

Today new style key arrived and 1 min with IID tool and all good !!!

I've covered just over 3500 kilometres since purchase and its averaged 31.7 mpg (8.9l/100klm) My daily route is 25 kms of school run and 80 kms of motorway ( more like a long carpark most days) so a mixture and very pleasing for my fuel bill. My 3.6 was closer to 25 mpg for the same journey.

The best I've seen was 43 mpg. 2015 4.4 AB

As I posted on another thread I put 255 55 20 Michelin latitude sports on today. They have M+S stamped on them which surprised me. I put these on as i had this size on my 3.6 and found them to give a slightly softer ride. I got these for 150stg for the set ( which also helped in bramd choice -!! ) and they are a bit quieter than the Zeros that came off.

The 2011 is driving superbly, still giving 30 odd to the gallon and no issues whatsoever in the 14k kilometres that i covered since I bought it. Really enjoying it and it's in for a service next week and a once over. All I have spent is reversing bulbs from Grofus, LED main beam ( yet to be fitted) , custom floor mats and wipers in the last few months. It covers 800 kilometres between fill ups ( thats a week for me) and coped with everything I do with it with style and grace.

Still.dont have it remapped but that is comimg as soon as i get a chance.

Looking for another set of alloys for winters but it proberbly wont snow for weeks !!!!

Meant to say , i found the original cargo nets in the boot today , was really pleased but couldn't tell you why. 2015 4.4 AB

I found the cargo nets in mine the other day, too - still in their original plastic bag. I was pleased too, even though the chances of me ever using them are fairly small. I wonder what it is about cargo nets that makes people happy?!

Had a remap installed today , big differance in throttle response. Pleased with it and will keep an eye on the mpg to see if it improves. 2015 4.4 AB

Recon mine is quick enough without a remap, but I did do it to my other diesel Land Rovers....

Have you a link to the LED main beam bulbs or have you done another thread? Interested in that mod.
