Mate I think you'll find one free - search 'sprinter jack' on this forum.
The OE scissor is considered either useless or dangerous.

Yep, you don't want a genuine one they are crap.

Mine had previously never been used and collapsed the first time I tried it!

It's for a friend and his has just collapsed!

Sounds like the Sprinter Jack with the Mini/BMW adaptor is the way forward.
