Another post on here has made me curious, does anyone actually have some first hand (rather than anecdotal) experience of an insurance company refusing to pay out or getting prosecuted for having tyres with too low a speed rating?
Several years ago I had an XJR on T rated winter tyres - someone ran into the back of it and I had no issues with either the insurance or the police investigators.
Just wondering if this “problem” is fact or another myth like “The insurance can’t write your car off if you don’t want them to”?
