3.0 TDV6 idling rough on start up?

On start up on cold mornings, the car is a little sluggish and is very briefly idling roughly.

Has anyone experienced this?

All views welcome.

Thanks

I ‘had’ this but on 4.4 Diesel. I say ‘had’ as it went in for service last week and was supposedly rectified with a software update. It was never everyday and hasn’t happened since I got it back so not 100% it resolved.

Wouldn't have thought about software update for what ours does intermiitently.

Thanks peekay

I’ve had this but my B service at Rovertune Reading seems to have sorted it.

I know what you mean it should be like a John Deer on cold mornings. Persist with the dealer me thinks 3.0 VSE - 2015MY

The same engine in my F Pace starts from cold sounding like a donkey engine until up to pressure and temp and then sounds as smooth as you like. Takes about a minute to sort itself out.

I took it to be ‘one of those things’ you get with an oil burner.
