England 2008 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

Looks like a reasonable example. Ignore the sellers hype, it's not "fully loaded". The missing "Logic 7" badges on the speaker grill has me doubting if it's the Harmen Kardon premium system. That said, the important stuff is on the Vogue spec anyway. Make sure EVERYTHING works. If it has a button, expect it to function. Pay particular attention to the turbos (no bad noises, no rattles or lack of pull) as they're £3,500 to sort. Make sure the gearbox works smoothly, and ask when the gearbox, transfer box and diff oil were last changed. If they look confused assume never and make that one of your first jobs if you buy it. Make sure the ride height raises and lowers from the switch in the center console. Air struts and pump are another expensive thing that can wrong. Check the DVD Nav operation if it has it. The roof aerial can become ingressed by water and stop receiving GPS signals leading to an inaccurate positional representation on the screen.

Edit: also check the steering column moves in all directions, they can fail too, and are unexpectedly eye-watering to fix.

All that said, if they've knocked a grand off, that's a fair price for whats on show here, assuming no faults are present.

Seat looks fine to me, wouldn't say it's heavily worn at all.

'Massive spec' or 'fully loaded' is just car dealer talk that they use to describe everything.

As already said, just make sure everything works.

Next car I buy for that kind of money I'm definitely going to have an AA inspection done as they check things you wouldn't even think of.

Well worth the money and if the seller gets twitchy when you suggest it you know they've got something to hide.

Looks to me as though the drivers seat bolster is all the way through at 1 point. A dot which is yellow i.e. the colour of the seat foam.

Seems pretty well priced, especially with the grand off original price.

Just keep your eyes open and see through the dealer bullshit. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

As noted above, I reckon that is a spot of water with the interior light reflecting off it...

I've recently purchased similar. Best to budget for something unexpected to happen. Two front struts within 6 weeks!
