luggage / boot area power socket - no power

probably slim hope on this one but thought I'd ask before I add it to the list of all the other jobs for the dealership to sort out.

Just noticed the power socket in the boot doesn't work. The others in the car are all fine, just the one in the boot thats giving no juice.

Checked its fuse which looks to be ok, so problem must be in the wiring somewhere. Anyone else had this problem and know the fix ?

thanks

Ok I got 2 minutes to have a look at this and problem solved.

The side panel that homes the power socket simply clips out so you can get behind it.

The wiring had become unplugged from the socket. No idea if vibration had rattled it loose over the years (there’s no retaining clip) or if the panel had been out in the past for some reason and someone forgot to reconnect it. Anyways a nice simple fix. Very Happy
