Stop Start battery - L405

Hi Dan
I am after a price for the stop start boot side panel battery from my 2014M5 autobiography.
I believe the number on the battery is CX23-10C655-AC
12volt / 14Ah200A

Once I open the door and get inside the dash is saying battery low and "need to start the engine". The stop start function is not working nor is the preheater. Not sure what else uses this battery?

Can you give me a price please. Is this a simple change or does it need coding from the dealer once fitted?

Many thanks for your time

Have the Range Rover checked as the monitoring system may be at fault. We had the same fault with our disco sport. We only have one battery but came up with the same message, and the auto/electric boot wouldn’t work. Thumbs Up

Try this place for the battery, I got my L322 battery from here and not had a problem with it.

Hi
Many thanks for the replies. Thumbs Up
I have connected a multimeter on the stop / start battery and this has never dropped passed 12 volts.

I tried this morning the pre heat has again all failed - No heat and when I open the door the interior lights stopped working and the message was on the dash again but the stop start battery in the side panel was still ok. This means either a faulty voltage stabiliser or the main battery under the wheel is breaking down. Shocked

I will try the same process with the multimeter on the main battery and see what happens. Question

Thanks for any more replies

Not attempting to hi-jack this post but if the OP's 2014 has stop/start, why doesn't my MY2015 (December 2014) have it? Maybe because I have a 4.4 SDV8?

I'm just curious, not necessarily missing stop/start as I know that's contentious in itself.

Showing 12 volts on the battery is not sufficient. a fully charged battery should be in excess of 14.5 volts and not drop below 12.6 volts approx. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.
