Eas fault pressure static - bit of guidance required plz

Morning chaps.
I've had an ongoing fault with the eas for a couple of months now. Ben using the RWS EAS reset tool until I got an IID BT from Ducky Dan earlier this month.
I've been reading loads and done google searches and FFRR searches.

I've rebuilt the piston ring and replaced the silica gel and filters with a bagpiping andy kit yesterday.
Live values were 144psi with the pump running, got to about 55 degrees.
few resets and the pressure was 136psi and the pump getting to about 67 degrees. the Pressure barely changes (less than 1psi) whilst the pumps running.
The fatty takes an age to pump from access to standard, but it gets there eventually. (Not even bothered with off-road height).
The car remains level for days, no dropped corners.

Plan:
test the pressure relief valve in the boot, see if thats venting
check joints/pipework for leaks.

possibilities
Pressure sensor duff - But it is reading pressures and changes?
Might the reservoir tank be full of water?
Valve block stuck

any suggestions and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the compressor repair hasn’t been a success. If the piston chambers to badly scored it won’t work. If it’s detecting the pressure then sensors fine and a corroded air tank won’t hold any pressure . You can test the valves on a decent diagnostic to see them

New compressor needed. I went through all this, new compressor sorted it all out Smile

Do a search on eBay, you can get just the guts of the unit (e.g. just the compressor) from a firm in Germany, and save 100 - 200 quid .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

[SOLVED] - Eas fault pressure static - bit of guidance

Hi, thought I'd report back.
Ordered a pump unit - looked a bit dubious as there were lots of very similar units by non-descript companies most were based in Leicester. But took the plunge and got one for £140-odd.
All hooked up and so far so good.
Pump took the tank from 69psi to 188psi in a couple of minutes. had a play with the heights and no further errors.
So many thanks to Joe and Alistair for your help and advice.

this proved the PTFE ring / repair kit did not work on this occasion.
Now, looking to hook up a twin pump set up. Very Happy 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 on Gas
