United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

For what it’s worth @tdsix I think it looked a cracker, love the colour and interior combo.

Wish you many miles of smiles with the new acquisition

Rightly or wrongly, I have bought the car above.

Rightly - there is no wrongly. 4.4's with the 8 speed are so nice to drive. If you are happy thats all that counts.

Enjoy Thumbs Up

@TDSIX, I’m sure u will love the 4.4L

Bit late, but more or less the same colour skin as mine.
When looking for a new one my wife said she liked it , I just agreed as I had got permission to buy! I wouldn’t of chosen it, but in fact I really really get pleasure from this colour. Your interior is lovely- again not a choice I would naturaly choose if specking a car, (boring ivory I’m afraid) as yours is a little striking, but now I see your colour in situ, it would certainlywork for me. It’s all good.

Just watch out for the heavy lead boot with your new motor , u may surprise yourself. Thumbs Up Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Is the suspension system improved upon any from my previous 2007 3.6?

I remember how much better the handling was in the 2007 than the 2003 TD6 I had previous to it. I wonder if there is another significant improvement going from 2007 3.6 to 2010 4.4?

Not that the 3.6 handled bad at all.. though I do note that 2011 RRS I had did handle more like a car..where the 2003 TD6 listed like a boat.. 2010 FF 4.4 TDV8 Vogue - Gone

Pretty much the same, it does however have adaptive dynamics which adjusts the dampers. Not noticed a vast difference from the 3.6 I used to have though. Thumbs Up

There is a common easily fixable fault with the AD on the top of the front struts. If you get a warning the have a search on here as it’s bee well documented.

The car itself is pretty much the same, it’s the drivetrain which is the difference. Obviously you get better nav and somewhere to plug in an ipod, but the engine and 8sp box are the good bits. Make it more refined and somewhat faster! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Can someone confirm the name of the leather colour on this car? I wish to order some leather dye to touch up the bolster there..
