United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
L322 Reverse Cam

I have a 2004 L322 Vogue. I have removed the reverse cam the previous owner installed below the bumper, it was working fine but not a great, but ok picture and it was forever getting dirty under the bumper. It was connected with the yellow AV cable and a red/black power cable which had been connected to two brown wires in the loom running in the spare wheel storage area right hand corner - assume these are reverse light cables?

I have installed an aftermarket camera below the spoiler with the wires routed down in the D-Pillars and reconnected the existing wiring.

When in reverse the picture displays but there is a flicker / vertical scrolling (not a static picture). Does anyone have any ideas? I've read about relays or the possibility of the fuse needing replacement?

Is you new camera PAL or NTCS format?

either way you can set the screen to the formats you need on the had unit.
go into the tv setting and scroll down this to find the one which suits.

I fitted a dash cam on a switch for the rear....so not sure about dedicated reverse camera but should be the same. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

The spec says:
Modulation: NITS or PAL (I assume NTSC typo)
Pixels: 648 x 488
Resolution: 480 Lines
Consumption Max. 120mA
Power Supply: DC 12V

I tried the TV settings on all 3 options (BMW unit) and no change on either?
