United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Supercharged Autobiography Auto Atacama Sand

Not the basic 5-seat & 7-seat they sit on coils my friend. I am getting uprated coils to give me about 5cm more height.

HATE manuals off road, especially in low range. If you're crossing ruts for example you want control, not lurching all over the place trying to balance 3 pedals.

Love manuals in a fast road car, though. Guess its just preference.

My preference is also Auto both on and off road but this one was too much of a good buy to miss and it is actually quite refreshing driving a manual Land Rover for a change.

Once it's finished, and it's going to look fabo, and then used to green lane a few times I will probably sell it on and do the same again with an Auto HSE with the brilliant terrain response Very Happy ( I may become known as the G4 Replica Man Wink )

No, but then they don't have plastic overhanging bumper bits to worry about. They can just smash into anything they want.

Having spent my childhood being thrown around in 90's as they bounce and jerk around all over the place I am very thankful for my soft suspension and autobox. Although, to be fair not as comfortable off road as an Alvis Stalwart, or as good at wading!
