Well I'm going to have to say it, first world problems guys, all you have to do is buy some, keep in the garage and top up when the light comes on. Bit like putting fuel in it, I think we can all manage that can't we? Drives:

LR approved adblue Rolling with laughter
Don't be conned fellas, its all the same stuff.
Truckers been using it for at least 5 years.
BTW, Volvo's dont need it as they pass the regs without it.

As already said, top it up well before you get any computer message and you wont have a problem. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

If only the stealer had given us the advice in the last 2 posts. Introduce new tech and don't tell punters how to use it. letters not necessarily in the right order

I didn’t report back...

I took advantage of my friendly farmers offer, & I used his. The car still works Rolling with laughter

The video about twisting caps is as red merie suggests is misleading or just taking the p***s , just be careful putting it in so it doesn’t spill.

Easy peasy , but I did ask what the ad blue cost the farmer , and buying in bulk is not so dissimilar to buying in the supermarket-

So now I know... thanks all. He who dies with the most toys, Wins !!!!!

The car has an 18 liter tank and had 2 liters in it, the computer said it would do 600+ miles but it shut down. I have no issue with having to fill up or paying. I have an issue with not being given good information to make decisions on. I went to the stealer the first working day after the message that it was running low, they sold me a top up bottle, 10 days latter it shuts down.

My warning came up again Shocked

Check levels , 800 miles to go . So reading above, I’m going to be able to get 15L in...& PDQ Exclamation

Seems this job is more frequent than I thought... My friendly farmers (almost , so not quite sure) top up has done 5000 miles..

At 23,000 miles I’ve needed to refill 3 times now with a 10litre bottle from Morrison’s.

Each time I’ve done the refill I’ve got more relaxed - just made sure that I’ve got the garden hose very close at hand to immediately rinse down any spillage with loads of water. 2016 SDV8 AB
