Rear wiper, is this correct

Guys, just got the RR but I'm wondering if this is correct, the rear wiper doesn't return all the way up under the spoiler, but the sweep is equal
I have look through the wiki pages and on the www,but can't find the answer
I am taking it all apart tomorrow to find the rear wash wipe leak, so was going to look at this as well

Many thanks

Doesn't look right - mine certainly parks more neatly. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

It should tuck under the spoiler when in he parked position. It actually lifts the blade slightly away from the glass too, so that it doesn’t stick in freezing weather. Makes it awkward to swap the blade actually, requiring good timing to open the top boot at just the right moment to stop the blade mid-wipe. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

I did think it should, so not sure what the issue is now, is /should the sweep be symmetrical?

Not symmetrical. Hopefully the glass is dirty enough for you to see the wiper sweep on mine.

I can only suggest removing the wiper arm when it’s in the park position and putting it back on so it’s under the spoiler. Think you have to remove the spoiler to get to the nut, so might be best doing when you investigating wiper motor issues or such like....
