Bluetooth ULF upgrade again -- sorry for another thread

Hi Folks,

4.4V8 04 plate

Doing some prep work for adding ULF -- I've found the white X400 -- but it's plugged into a harness that goes to a nokia box in the front passenger footwell -- no problem to disconnect.

I don't currently have a 54pin connector, and intend to make my own loom when I get bits -- but I'm struggling with microphone at the moment -- I've found these: -

Are they what I'm looking for, and if so, how to connect, also if someone has the direct pin info for the loom I need to make I'd be very thankful.

Here's hoping Smile

Thanks Joe, I actually have the same connect2 box, I was hoping just to dosconnect the loom, but maybe use the front to back connections for the microphone?

Thanks for the pointer to the PDF

IIRC the 12 pin connector serves no function with regards to the ULF module .

Now thats really confused me -- I thought I was creating a loom from a 'new' 54pin on the ULF to the 12 pin X400, have I got that wrong? If I have it'll be right back to the start as I have no other connectors Sad

So I guess the real question is -- where do the wires go out of the 54pin?

Thanks

My last post was easy to say given I am pre-wired for the 54 pin Twisted Evil

See here:

but also do some forum searches on "54 pin" and "ulf", lots of info on here .

OK, according to the wiring diagram, the Black/Yellow/black in the roof is indeed microphone pos/neg/sheild -- now, where is the other end of that ???

news......... used a cable tone to trace to the centre console for the mic lead -- I might just use the old connect2 front to back cabling and the old nokia mic instead of all this faffing...........
