Hi all,

The chrome on the 3 fins at the top of the side vent (2010 on autobiography) is peeling on the underside.
Not a big deal, just annoying and would like to get it sorted before it starts to show on the bits you can easily see.

I see that these appear to be common across various side vents, but having asked my dealer they only give a price for the entire side vent assembly, and that is close on 250 quid a side
My thought is, I might be able to pick up some cheaper ones and transfer the parts, and if that isnt an option, then get my bits re-chromed.

- How do you get the side vents off ?
- Is the chrome bit screwed on, or melted on (plastic peg ends melted to hold in place)
- has anyone else ever tried to get plastic bits re-chromed ?

This is something I want to fix in slow time, and not a big deal, just trying to get things right

Yes, similar to that, just the mesh is different.
