For sale is my late 2011 4.4 TDV8 Range Rover Vogue. This car was registered on 29th November 2011, but for some reason it has a “11” registration (presumably an error by the original dealership).
The original registration is MD11 XUV; the personalised registration will be removed prior to sale.
The car has covered 55,430 miles and is MOT’d until late June 2019. The colour is Sumatra Black, and it is in Vogue spec, with a black leather interior and Piano Black trim. I am the fourth owner and am only selling because we don’t have space for three cars.
Specification includes touch screen SatNav, virtual TFT instrument display, glass electric sunroof, fuel burning heater, reversing camera with parking sensors all round, Harmon Kardon Logic 7 sound system, electric front seats with driver’s memory, privacy tinted glass, heated front and rear seats, heated windscreen and steering wheel, folding dimming mirrors, cruise control, 20 inch alloys and Xenon headlamps.
Full service history as follows:
• Oil service on 06/09/12 at 7268 miles, Team Valley main dealer
• Inspection 1 service on 13/09/13 at 15436 miles, Team Valley main dealer
• Oil service on 28/08/14 at 21737 miles, Lloyd LR Carlisle main dealer
• Inspection 2 service on 09/04/15 at 27383 miles, Lloyd LR Carlisle main dealer
• Inspection 2 service on 05/05/16 at 37382 miles, Farnell Nelson main dealer
• Oil service on 17/05/17 at 49506 miles, Farnell Nelson main dealer
• Inspection 1 service and brake fluid change on 14/06/18 at 55106 miles, Cam Tech Landrover specialist
Other features that this car has that many don’t are as follows:
• Front and rear differential and transfer box oils all changed at 31957 and 54365 miles
• Gearbox oil filter/sump and gearbox fluid replaced at 54801 miles
• New front discs and pads at 27383 miles and new front pads at 54819 miles
• Wrington Engineering stainless steel wheel nuts fitted September 2017
• Power steering fluid replaced at 54382 miles
• Wheels upgraded to L405 20 inch Style 502 alloys – from a 2017 L405; the tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Verde all season M&S (255/55 R20) with tread depths of 7 mm all round
• Absolutely no signs of rust in the sills, wheel arches or tailgate – all these areas have been sprayed by me with Bilt Hamber Dynax S-50 rust inhibitor
• Rubber mat for rear load area and genuine Range Rover carpets throughout
• Two keys both refurbished (see photos) and remote for fuel burning heater
• The car has just been serviced and checked over by Craig at Cam Tech Landrover
• Spare set of wheel centres, and spare windscreen wipers included in sale
• Alignment just done at Southampton wheel alignment centre
The advisories on the recent MOT have been dealt with as follows:
• Lower offside ball joint replaced at Rovertune (Reading) on 28th June
• Oil leak proved to be the oil cooler gasket – replaced at Rovertune on 28th June
I’m asking £19,495.

Thanks Ryan, that is good of you mate. I caved in to a long time urge and bought a Porsche 911, and much as I'd like to keep the Range Rover, my wife (quite rightly) insists that three cars in our household is one too many.
She refuses to drive the Fattie ("it's too big").
The car was properly, and I mean properly, looked after before I bought it (from Ryan / pld118), and has been kept in mint condition since.

I too can verify (having seen it recently) what a lovely lovely thing this RR is... A proper gem! If I were in the market I’d buy it ... if any potential users wish to drop me a PM for a more in-depth analysis be my guest...

It’s pristine inside and out, has a history to match, even CTC seems able to endorse it; and from personal experience, you won’t find a more genuine, trustworthy seller than Mike (counterofbeans)... who knows his cars!

2011 Vogue SE 4.4 with lots of toys in Stornaway

Well, I bought a Porsche 911 almost on a whim, although I’ve always wanted one. So we then had three cars including the RR and Mrs COB insisted one had to go, but not hers! Shame, because I love the Fatty and wanted to keep it; they are unique and great cars.
However, knowing me the 911 will last six months and I’ll be back looking for a L405, daft as that sounds!
