Double din stereo fitting

Afternoon all, I’ve fitted my pioneer double din nav unit but am struggling with the fascia getting it to fit in the cage to get the dash top back on.

I’ve modified it a bit but isn’t enough.

Wanted some advice if anyone has had to do it and point me in the right direction
