I will offer the following non profit making service to anyone who has the jack but wants an aluminium drillled pad.

1) You buy the pad from eBay.
2) post it to me in a small Jiffy bag with a £5 note. to cover return postage cost.
Please include an address label with return address.
3) I will drill it out and post it back to you if you make a £5 donation to the forum.

It may take me a few days, you know how busy us pensioners can be Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Anyone who wants one can PM me for my address.

Jack Pads

Finally got pads through post from www.creationsmotorsport.com. Mr. Green

I had to press the horns off, as my jacks did not have the through pin type. I machined the pad with a 16mm flat bottomed hole to fit the ram head. I then drilled and threaded an M6 hole for the grub screws I had in my toolbox! (but any size up to M8 would have been ok).

Next I spot drilled the top of the Jack ram to keep the pad from slipping off. Push fit the pad back on and tighten up grub screw, I also put in some thread lock and a second locking grub screw just in case.

Tested it on fattie and up it went like a dream Very Happy no problem clear off the ground and no danger like the devil Evil or Very Mad scissor Jack that they supply which collapsed the last time of using it Censored Censored just as well it went when the wheel was still on.

Blagged an old tool box to store it in so all went to plan. Now the problem with getting more Jacks from the breakers is he will keep any that comes in for me but there is no telling when they will arrive keep my Shocked open.

If any member can bring or send me a Jack and pad with return post paid or pm bushy and he may be able to help there Thumbs Up I will happily fit it for them for a donation to the forum just like the very busy OAP Baltic Blue Very Happy Whistle Thumbs Up

I tried on the German fleabay to see if the jacks were any cheaper but no luck, If a member (Bushy) Thumbs Up could get a multi buy going then I am sure we maybe able to come up with a better solution for forum members. No pressure Bushy Whistle Thumbs Up May The FFoRRce Be With You
