Fuel Burning Heater Remote

So tried this out today, held the button for 2 seconds, nothing, but 12 red flashes which based on the useful info in the manual is an error
Is this one to add to the list for the dealer to look at??

All these posts about efective heaters.....its like everyone realising their house combi boiler has broken over the summer and not noticed! In my own defence I've only had the car a few weeks
