Anoying L322

I start to be disappointed with my Vogue L322. First it started with a knock at the right front suspension zone. I've replaced all the suspension arms, joints and brake pads. I've already undone everything and reattached it and the beat does not disappear. Then started with a squeak in the rear suspension almost looks like an ox wagon. Neither my 2A series with leaf springs made this noise. Then it started with a noise coming from inside the dashboard when I open any of the doors. This noise sounds like a little hammers hitting something. After a few seconds it stops.
It's near to go to the junk yard.
Ohhh how I miss my Discovery 200 Tdi.
It seems that where the best LR that I owned, not even the so much advertised Disco 2 TD5

Cheers

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. As per the youtube vĂdeo it seems is the same that's on mine.
That AC blend motor what is the purpose of it?
Best regards

Antonio

Re the squeak - quite common but before you go replacing suspension bushes etc, a cheap fix might be to check the routing of the handbrake cable as often the cable casing rubs through against the eyelets etc on both sides and then squeaks particularly over the slightest bumps.

Had this on mine and it was driving me mad and despite lubricating some of the bushes as advised elsewhere on the forum and replacing my lower hub bushes it was still there. Then by chance when I had the wheels off for a brake replacement. I spotted the problem - insulated the eyelets that the cable runs through and checked that the cable isn't rubbing against anything else. fixed now and not a sound since. happy days

Hi NobbyC

Thanks for your reply.
I'm going to try that. But now I have a more urgent problem on it.
I'm going to put a new post.
Thank you again

Pires

Front end knocking, have you replaced the anti roll bar links (use LR ones if you do) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Hi Joe

Yes I've replaced them but not with LR ones. Is that important?
