Drivers lock Inop

Hi guys

2004 L322. A few days ago the drivers side external handle door release cable snapped. No biggie! £40 from LR and 20 mins to change. Door handle all working again.

Other half is saying the central locking isn’t working on drivers door now tho (I’m not near car for few days)

Key unlocks and locks drivers door only
Key fob locks/unlocks other 3 doors and tailgate (not drivers door)
Button on dash locks/unlocks other 3 doors (not drivers door)

Is it a wire I’ve knocked off or could I be looking at a door motor??

Cheers

if it all worked ok before your cable replacement then i'd whip the door card off and check the connections..

Was kinda hopeing someone was gonna say “Clearly you haven’t plugged the blue cable back in you idiot”... or something like that. Maybe bit optimistic?

I’ve only ever dealt with P38 door locks. And every issue always resulted in “new lock” £125+ Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!

What was the outcome? I've had exactly this happen to mine today

Removed door card again. Unplugged everything and reconnected giving a wiggle and firm push to make sure connection was good on all connectors ... All been ok since, touch wood. Exact as Stan suggested Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!
