RADIO PROBLEMS

hello to everyone, lately, the radio turns off, and comes back on by itself, and after a while you hear the noise from the speakers like a station popped, I press the button to turn it off, and after a while you hear frying from the speakers.
What do you think I should check for, has it ever happened to you? idtool tells me that there is a communication error .....
Thanks in advance

i gather you have had some bad rain lately so my first guess would be to check the near side rear cubby for water ingress ...check the connections for oxidation as well..

I had a radio problem on Saturday which I thought was rain related but wasn't as far as I know.

Got in the car, and although the radio was on, nothing was coming out of the speakers, tried CD, same again - although the timer was running so it was definitely playing, same with the iPod. Turned the volume up using both the knob and the steering wheel control. Nothing.

Tried pressing the "repeat instruction" button on the satnav and all of a sudden the radio came blaring out while the satnav said her piece ("no destination has been set"). Then silence again.

I went into the music settings and tried turning off/on/off the soundlogic system which made no difference. Then tried the reset button within the music settings and it all came back.

Very odd. We'd had a lot of rain, but there was no water in the back whatsoever!
