Just got a new Pressure Washer

My old Karcher pressure washer came from B&Q and now I notice it has a sticker on the box that says "Only at B&Q" which may as well say "Mega CR*P"

Anyway, I knew no better and it started to leak water and the pressure dropped, I can't take it apart either. Cost me £80 back in the day.

Anyway, decided to splash out on a replacement and noticed the modern ones are huge compared, heavy and instead of the paltry 6litres of water per minute of my old one, are now 420 l/min.

So, I got to christen it tonight...WOW! Very Happy I've been missing out, the pressure is immense and the alloys came out spanking, no soap involved.

A very happy customer

If anyone cares, I got the Karcher K3.86 from Toolstation for £139. Discovery 4 HSE

I need a new one, our karcher one is definitely not as good as it used to be. I think it's the frost that gets to then when left in the shed/garage etc.

I've not heard of NILFISK before - however it looks very much like a re-branded karcher (I've heard they sell off their old designs)

The guys on the detailing world forum speak very highly of Nikfisk even used everyday.

I've still got an older Karcher before they went to Censored plastic pumps. (Nilfisk use brass)

When that dies I'll probably get a P150

Nilfisk Alto stuff works well and as long as you stick to the large domestic they come with 3 year warranty good one is about £350 Far to many gone...

I run my PW off the hot tap - works really well with the snow foam.
