what's this 'wind down the window' bit on about?

I do not understand the terminology.

When i bought my RR it had the factory privacy glass on the back of the car and nothing on the front two windows i had a 50% tint put on the front which i believe is the same as the back but it looks lighter cos of all the light from the windscreen it has made no difference to vision in the day or at night and i think it looks finished off it does not look right with just the back done... It cost £25 per window..

"Wind down the window" does sound like effort is involved! I should have said "command the window to move downwards using the switch"

Had a Freelander as a courtesy car yesterday. It was that vivid blue with very blacked out tints. Looked like a pimp mobile!

Problem was that it was so dark inside due to the tints I started getting SAD and became depressed in seconds. Having second thoughts about getting the tints done on mine now.

iv been thinking of doing this as i only have rears done has anyone got my weird colour of rangie with full tints done ? Monte carlo Blue, Ivory Leather, 22 Khan Reps, 3.0 td6 Vogue
