Great report and piccies,look forward to seeing Trip 2 report.
I love driving through France,we've been going to Samoens and Les Gets in the Alps and Gassin near St.Tropez now for several years now summer and winter and have got both journeys off to a tee.
Would really love to do what you have done looks wonderful.
It would be great to know some of the hotels you used en-route as we have always used Campanile just for stopovers but on our recent trip the prices had increased dramatically and would rather pay the extra for somewhere more comfortable . Banished back to RRS for the moment !!!
